My roller derby journey began in 2011 with a small-town Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) team, and from there, my passion for skating grew exponentially. I worked at my local roller rink from 2013 to 2016, leading basic skating lessons. In 2014, my family founded our own JRDA league, and I took on a player-coach role until I aged out in 2016 and transitioned to head coach. Through these experiences, I discovered my true passion for coaching!

During this time, my sister and I also joined a USA Roller Sports (USARS) roller derby league in 2015, which allowed players aged 14 and up to compete on adult teams at a higher level. That year, we competed in our first USARS Nationals Tournament, and I had the honor of qualifying for and competing in the inaugural JRDA World Cup with Team USA East.

In 2016, we qualified for and competed in the first Roller Derby Junior Olympics as part of the Great Lakes Region team, which coincided with our second year at USARS Nationals. I competed in USARS Nationals again in 2017 before moving to Washington in 2018, where I joined my first Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) league.

From 2018 to 2020, I played for the Bellingham Roller Betties and had the privilege of qualifying for another USA roller derby team that won gold at the 2019 World Roller Games in Barcelona. Since then, I’ve mostly taken a step back from competitive skating to focus on my education. In 2023, I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

I’ve also recently earned my Personal Training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and am currently working towards certifications in Nutrition and Group Training!
